Your inbox is full. Slack is piling up. Client messages need a response yesterday. Typing thoughtful replies to all of it takes hours you don't have.

Wispr Flow turns your voice into clean, professional text you can send the moment you stop talking. Speak like you would to a colleague — tangents and all — and get polished output. Emails, Slack, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, whatever's open.

89% of messages sent with zero edits. Used by teams at OpenAI, Vercel, and Clay. Works on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.

Two things happened this week that are easy to file under "AI news" and shouldn't be. OpenAI turned 31 more countries into ad inventory. Google set a date to upgrade your Search campaigns whether you asked for it or not — that date is next Tuesday. Plus a $6B enablement merger closed, and new research says GEO stopped being an experiment.

ChatGPT ads went live across Europe yesterday

OpenAI began serving ads in 31 European markets on August 24 — Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, the Nordics, Ireland, the Netherlands and more. Ads run on the free tier and the €8/month Go plan; premium subscribers stay ad-free. It lands exactly six months after the US pilot opened in February, and after rollouts through Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and South Korea.

Why it matters: There is now a second AI-native ad surface with real scale, and it reaches people mid-comparison rather than mid-scroll. For B2B, the targeting story is still thin and attribution is thinner — but if your buyers research vendors in a chat window, this is the first placement that sits inside that moment. Worth a test budget, not a line item yet.

Google auto-upgrades Search campaigns to AI Max on September 1 — and there's no opt-out

Starting September 1, Google will migrate any Search campaign using automatically created assets or the campaign-level broad match setting into AI Max. ACA campaigns get search term matching and text customization on by default; broad match campaigns get search term matching. Migration runs September 1–30.

Why it matters: The only way out is to turn those features off before Tuesday. If you have brand campaigns, regulated copy, or tightly controlled messaging riding on ACA, audit them this week — text customization rewriting your headlines is a very fast way to find out your legal team reads your ads.

Seismic closed the Highspot merger. Enablement is now one vendor.

The deal announced back in February closed on August 18. The combined company operates as Seismic under CEO Rob Tarkoff, with Highspot co-founder Robert Wahbe joining the board. Scale: roughly 2,500 customers and 3.5 million users. Seismic says it will show the merged roadmap at Seismic Shift, October 12–15 in Carlsbad.

Why it matters: The two biggest sales enablement platforms are now the same platform. If you're a customer of either, your renewal leverage just changed and your roadmap requests just got queued behind an integration. If you've been putting off an enablement evaluation, the shortlist got shorter — and the alternatives got more interesting.

Intentsify put intent data inside Clay

Announced August 20: Intentsify's account-level and persona-level buyer intelligence is now available natively in Clay. Intentsify brings 1.1 trillion monthly intent signals across 4.2 million in-market accounts and 33,000+ topics; Clay brings the orchestration layer used by 500,000+ GTM teams.

Why it matters: This is the pattern to watch — intent data is losing its standalone dashboard and becoming a field in the workflow that already runs your outbound. The value moves from "who's spiking" to "what fires automatically when they do." If your intent vendor still lives in its own tab, that's a signal.

GEO hit 92% adoption — and a third of the agencies selling it are winging it

New research from GNW Consulting and Demand Metric, surveying 225 B2B marketing and revenue leaders: 92% are experimenting with or operationalizing generative engine optimization, and 78% of those investing report measurable ROI. Teams putting more than 5% of marketing budget toward GEO reported meaningfully higher business impact. The uncomfortable bit: 88% of SEO agencies surveyed claim to offer GEO, but more than a third describe their own offering as loosely defined.

Why it matters: The "is GEO real" debate is over; the "who can actually execute it" problem is just starting. Before you sign a GEO scope, ask the vendor exactly what they measure and how — if the answer is a citation-count screenshot, keep shopping.

Nielsen is buying DoubleVerify for $2.15B

Signed August 6: an all-cash deal at $13.60 per share — a 30% premium to DV's 60-day VWAP — taking DoubleVerify private under the Nielsen umbrella. Combined pro forma revenue tops $4 billion. Expected to close by the end of Q4 2026, with DV keeping its name and brand.

Why it matters: Measurement and verification are consolidating into the same house at the exact moment AI systems are making more media decisions on your behalf. Fewer independent referees, more automated buying. Ask your agency who is grading their homework in 2027.

One thing on your list today: open Google Ads and check which Search campaigns have automatically created assets or campaign-level broad match switched on. You have six days.

See you tomorrow.
